Brethren from the Group Worship Service (GWS) of Lae City in Papua New Guinea invited their friends and loved ones, for the film showing of the movie “Felix Manalo” in their place of worship on December 2, 2020.
“Felix Manalo” is a 2015 film about the life of Brother Felix Y. Manalo, the Messenger of God in these last days. With a running time of about three hours, the film also covers the history of the Church Of Christ during the leadership of Brother Felix Manalo.
Brother Edmark Velasco, resident ministerial worker, led the activity.
“With the guidance of the Church Administration, the Group Worship Service of Lae City never runs out of measures on how to edify the brethren and to invite guests, Bible students, and candidates for baptism. We encouraged these people to watch the ‘Felix Manalo’ film for them to know the life of the Last Messenger of God and for them to learn more about the Church that he preached. We will never stop in intensifying the work of propagation so that many more will become members of the Church Of Christ in this country,” he said.
The attendees followed health protocols in the venue. They discovered interesting information about Brother Felix Manalo—the trials and hardships he faced as he administered the true Church Of Christ.
Scolar Missa, a guest, said; “The movie ‘Felix Manalo’ was so inspiring and taught us … how to fight for our faith and belief. It made me all the more persistent in knowing what the Church Of Christ is all about. I want to have a Bible study with a minister here in Lae.”
The activity was conducted to present historical facts for the newer generation of brethren and as an eye-opener for nonmembers. — With reports from INC News Section
