Heeding the call of the Church Administration to spread the Good News of salvation far and wide, brethren from the Local Congregation of Laguinbanua East,  Ecclesiastical District of Aklan conducted an outreach-evangelical mission in Brgy. Manika, Libacao, Aklan on July 22, 2022.

In the said village, more than 30 kilometers away from Kalibo, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) has already established a venue for Bible studies.

“Through one of the brethren in Laguinbanua East, our local congregation was able to establish a venue for Bible studies here in Manika,” said Brother Leonel Selidio, the resident minister of Laguinbanua East. “This place is far from where we are but, with the inspiration from the Church Administration, we willingly make sacrifices so that the residents of Manika not only receive material aid from time to time but, most importantly, learn about God’s words that when taken to heart and obeyed will lead to salvation.”

On the day of the outreach-evangelical mission, a deputation of ministers, ministerial workers, and Church officers travelled to Manika not only to proclaim the pure gospel but also to provide aid to the residents.

The outreach-evangelical mission took place at Brgy. Manika’s basketball covered court. Brother Eduardo Donato, the district supervising minister, led the study of God’s words upheld in the Church Of Christ. From the Bible, he pointed out to the attendees the great importance of joining the true Church Of Christ introduced in the Bible to attaining salvation on the Day of Judgment.

After the Bible study, relief packages were distributed to the guests.

“Thank you for reaching out to our community. This would really help us,” said Rolando Oling, one of the beneficiaries. As to his reaction regarding the lesson in the evangelical mission, he said, “I will continue to examine the truth taught in the Church.”

“We conducted this outreach activity in fulfillment to God’s command of loving our fellowmen. But if we unceasingly give aid to other people, we will all the more not stop in sharing our faith because it will greatly benefit their souls in attaining eternal life,” said Brother Donato. — With reports from INC News Section and Romeo Arellano III
