“Baking can be done at the confines of your respective homes. It could either be your hobby or a profitable business.”

Thus said Jumel Espinola, baking enthusiast and the KADIWA president of the Local Congregation of Laoang, Ecclesiastical District of Tarlac City, Tarlac in the Philippines, as he addressed the KADIWA and Binhi members present during the Cupcake Making activity he led within the compound of their house of worship on February 26, 2023.

Espinola introduced and demonstrated two ways of making cupcakes, one through the use of a microwave oven and the other using steam.

While some participants shared it was their first time to bake, those who were already into baking said that the activity has helped them to further improve their skill. After baking their own cupcakes, the young members enjoyed eating and sharing these with their fellow brethren.

“Aside from baking, the bond of brotherhood among young members was once more strengthened,” Shara Joy Fernando, Binhi congregation president, said. — With reports from INC News Section
