God continues to bestow triumphs on the Church Of Christ’s intensified work of propagation as each of its district conducts baptisms. In Eastern Visayas, Philippines, two simultaneous baptisms were held successfully by the Ecclesiastical District of Leyte East on July 16, 2021.
The candidates for baptism, together with the brethren instrumental in their conversion, gathered early at the venue, following safe and healthy protocols, to receive their much awaited baptism and become full-fledged members of the Church.
Brother Eraño Fabella, district supervising minister, officiated at the baptismal service held in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Palo, and Brother Alberto Tolentino, assistant district supervising minister, in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Saint Bernard.
“I have been waiting for this glorious day to come and I am happy to be one of the chosen to receive this great blessing from God and inherit the salvation that He promised to His children,” Erica Cagara from the Palo Congregation expressed after the baptism.
Marites Lamoste, deaconess in the same congregation and was instrumental in Erica’s conversion stated, “We will never stop on our propagational efforts to bear fruits and we will continue to strive more in helping in the activities that bring honor and praise to God.”
The resident minister of the Palo Congregation, Brother Engelbert Manalo, said, “There’s pandemic or not, the Church will always succeed in converting many people to the Church with the help of God. This remains the true essence of His work of salvation because He is the One adding to the Church to be saved on Judgment Day.” — With reports from INC News Section
