Aiming to help improve teamwork and camaraderie among its officers in all levels, the KADIWA organization leadership in the Ecclesiastical District of Leyte East, in the Philippines, sponsored for them a team-building workshop on April 29, 2022.

The learning activity, which was held at Jacela’s Garden in Bagong Lipunan, Carigara, Leyte, intended to impress on the KADIWA officers from various local congregations in the district the importance of efficiently working together toward achieving a shared goal.

KADIWA district officers who facilitated the team-building workshop made sure that all of the attendees took part in the team activities that focused on building and maintaining cohesiveness in pursuit of a common goal.

In an interview after the activity, Jenny Cormero, district KADIWA president, said that it is important “to unite and help one another to succeed in any activity, especially in the projects of the Church, all for the glory of the Lord God.”

“The event fostered closer ties among KADIWA officers, both in the district and local congregation level. There was an exchange of ideas on how to be good leaders and the participants received additional information on how to be effective leaders,” Jenny said.

“The team-building activity helped us hone our leadership [skills] so that we will be effective in leading the KADIWA members under our care,” Kimberly Ayo, a district KADIWA officer, said. “We thank the Church Administration for launching activities, such as this. We will all the more value and care for the Church duty that God entrusted to us.” — With reports from INC News Section
