Leyteño brethren step up in sharing their faith

Intent on sharing the true faith to as many people in their community as possible, Church Of Christ members from the Leyte East Ecclesiastical District conducted a two-day Pasugo drive, which served as part of their preparation for their upcoming evangelical mission on the third day.
On February 5 to 6, 2021, brethren from all the local congregations in the district went in groups around their respective communities handing out free copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine to every resident. As they did, they introduced the Iglesia Ni Cristo and the teachings it upholds as taught by the Bible.
Also, they invited the people to attend the evangelical mission scheduled on February 7 even in the confines of their homes through videoconferencing.
Brother Wilfredo Labajo, the district secretary, led the study of God’s words, from the Tacloban City Local Congregation’s house of worship, which served as the host site. He emphasized using the Bible the importance of joining the Church Of Christ for one to be saved from the impending destruction of the world on Judgment Day.
The brethren were overjoyed to see some of their relatives and friends who accepted their invitations and took part in the virtual evangelistic activity. The guests, on the other hand, gave positive feedback saying they learned many things about the Church and wanted to learn more. — With reports from INC News Section
