Formerly known as the Tubao Extension for three years, the now Local Congregation of Lloren in the Ecclesiastical District of La Union conducted its first worship service bearing such status on April 12, 2023, following the approval of the Church Administration.

The sacred occasion, in which the new congregation’s members offered thanks and praises to God for the wonderful blessing they received, was officiated by the district supervising minister, Brother Ardy Mendoza. Through the Holy Scriptures, he reassured the congregants that as God’s servants they could expect to always receive His abundant blessings by dutifully obeying all of His commands, one of which is attending worship services.

The new congregation was also blessed with a new place of worship, through the kindness of Avelino Talig-an, head deacon in Buyagan, Benguet, who offered the entire topmost floor of a building he owns for the use of the Church. The three-storey edifice is in Brgy. Lloren, Tubao, La Union, Philippines, hence, the congregation’s name.

Brother Joe Ian Rod Aguilar, resident ministerial worker, considered the approval to elevate the Tubao Extension into Lloren Congregation very timely. “The works of the Church in this part of the province rapidly flourish,” he said. “It was due to the activeness and unity of the brethren in participating to the activities launched by the Church Administration.”

He added, “We thank God for placing before us the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, who truly cares and loves the entire Church.” — With reports from Jespher Maghirang of INC News Section
