Brethren from of the Local Congregation of Llorente, Ecclesiastical District of Eastern Samar held the inaugural worship service in their new barangay chapel on March 27, 2021.

Brother Rico Melgar, district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred occasion.

The congregation was established on October 3, 1972. On February 21, 1988, their place of worship was transferred to the house of Jacinto Yape until the completion of the new barangay chapel, which is located in Real Street, Barangay 8, Poblacion Llorente, Eastern Samar, Philippines.

The brethren were very thankful for being blessed by God through the Church Administration with a new chapel where they can all worship Him as well as pray to Him for His favors.

“This new house of worship is a great blessing for the brethren because whatever their situation in their life, whatever trials and problems they may go through, they can go to this holy edifice to pray and to ask for help from the Lord God,” Brother Joshua Rivera, resident ministerial worker, said. — With reports from INC News Section
