Macau District Multimedia team boosts skills thru seminar

On February 20, 2022, the officers of the District Multimedia team from the Ecclesiastical District of Macau endeavored to boost their multimedia skills through an enhancement seminar. The host site for the activity was the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Macau. Others who could not be accommodated in the venue due to restrictions joined from their homes through videoconferencing.
Karen Simpleo, the District Multimedia director of Macau, shared tips on effective and factual news writing as well as on taking videos and photos of Church events. She also gave a refresher on the different roles of the multimedia team members.
Formerly called “Multimedia Bureau,” the District Multimedia team operates under the Christian Era Broadcasting Service International, Inc. (CEBSI) and is responsible for sending broadcast materials to the Church’s media arms, such as INCTV, INC Radio and INC Media. The District Multimedia team is tasked to produce news reports about Church activities in different parts of the world to keep the brethren informed, thus promote more active participation from them, especially in the works of propagation. — With reports from INC News Section
