Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) from the Madang Group Worship Service (GWS) went on an evangelistic mission to Krangket Island in Papua New Guinea on December 14, 2021.
Led by the resident minister of the Port Moresby Local Congregation, Brother Regino Manangan Jr., the Church officers and brethren took an hour-long boat ride from the port of Madang to Krangket, one of the four islands in Madang Province, to share the words of God to the island’s residents.
They distributed copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine to the residents and invited them to attend the Bible study scheduled later that day to be led by Brother Manangan.
In his Bible-based preaching, the minister taught the importance of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in order to be saved on the nearing Judgment Day.
“It was truly a heart-warming feeling to be part of the activity and to travel to the island,” Virgie Kasek, a Church officer, said. She said her and the brethren’s participation in this holy endeavor was, among others, to show their unity with the administration of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo who is “always taking care of our welfare.”
“We safely reached the island through the help of our Lord God,” said Brother Manangan. “We wholeheartedly promise to our beloved Executive Minister that we will continue to be united in the intensive work of propagation.” — With reports from INC News Section
