On September 27, 2021, KADIWA and Binhi members from the Local Congregation of Madridejos, Ecclesiastical District of Bogo City, Cebu joined hands in cleaning a neighboring coastal area at Sitio Kagwangan, Barangay Tarong.

Supervised by Brothers Nashbelle Boctoc and Karl Raybert Alpuerto, ministerial workers assigned in the congregation, the young members cleared the site of harmful debris and eye-sores, which they disposed of properly.

“The brethren here are not spared of trials exacerbated by the current pandemic, but they are not hindered in participating in Church activities like this because it not only enlivens us in the faith [and] gives us a chance to be with our fellow brethren, but also provides us a way to show our collective concern for the environment,” Brother Boctoc explained.

“We will continue to unite in all the activities inside the Church Of Christ,” he added on behalf of the young brethren.

The Local Congregation of Madridejos, whose house of worship is a familiar sight in Poblacion, is one of five congregations located in the Bantayan island, off the northern coast of province of Cebu. — With reports from INC News Section
