KADIWA and Binhi officers from all local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Makati had their leadership skills honed to better serve as role models to their fellow Christian youths especially in taking active part in Church activities for their own edification in the faith.

This was achieved during the leadership enhancement seminar they attended on February 25, 2023 at an events venue in a mall along Kalayaan Ave., Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

The youth leaders participated in discussions and workshops facilitated by district officers, which aimed to improve and develop their capabilities in specific tasks as leaders. These tasks included decision-making, brainstorming and planning, giving motivation to fellow members, and the like.

“It’s a great opportunity to meet officers from other local congregations and help each other out on how to become effective leaders for the sake of the brethren entrusted to our care,” Antonio Tiples IV, KADIWA officer from the Local Congregation of Guadalupe, said. “As I cannot lead on my own, I’ll keep asking God for guidance. May He endow success whenever I lead.”

The seminar was held in part to prepare the youth officers for their anticipated tasks and roles in upcoming projects and activities related to the celebration of their respective organizations’ golden anniversaries this year. Some of these activities are Unity Games, CFO Vision, INCinema, and Himig ng Kaligtasan (Songs of Salvation). — With reports from INC News Section
