A part of their edification endeavors for new members of the Church, the Local Congregation of Malacampa, Ecclesiastical District of Paniqui, Tarlac, Philippines conducted a “Welcome, My Brethren” activity on August 8, 2021 at Oriendo’s residence in Barangay Malacampa, Municipality of Camiling.

Those in the process of joining the Church also attended the activity. Christian Family Organizations (CFO) presidents were introduced to the new members, at the same time orienting them about the organization where they belong. During the occasion, the attendees watched inspiring stories of some brethren’s conversion to the Church.

Brother Manolito Sarmiento, resident minister, led the activity. CFO officers helped in the orderliness and implementation of health and safety protocols in the venue.

“I am interested in the teachings from the Bible that is being upheld in the Church Of Christ. I am happy to be welcomed in the Church,” Carmelita Antonio, a prospective member, said.

The activity provided time for old and new brethren to socialize with one another. The Church Administration continues to show concern for the members’ spiritual welfare and edification.

Tarlac Province was under modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) during the activity. — With reports from INC News Section
