With God’s help, a new batch of brethren who completed the seminar-training for holding duties in the Church were added to the roster of Church officers in a number of local congregations and group worship services (GWS) in the Ecclesiastical District of Malaysia.

The gathering for their oath-taking ceremony was held by every congregation on September 8, 2021 through videoconferencing.

The resident minister of each local congregation and GWS officiated at the sacred occasion from place of worship while the new and old officers and other brethren attended the virtual gatherings from their homes. Through a biblical lesson, the ministers encouraged the Church officers to remain committed to their duties and steadfast in their faith in the face of all trials, entrusting their cares with the Lord.

“I am grateful for receiving a new Church duty, this is a great blessing in my life from our Lord God,” Aziel Soriano, a newly sworn in Church officer, enthused.

All the Church officers, old and new alike, were strengthened in their faith as they were expected to be of help to the district leadership and the Church Administration in caring for and watching over the spiritual welfare of the brethren in this part of the world. — With reports from INC News Section
