Adapting to the changes brought by the pandemic, the Ecclesiastical District of Malaysia held its “Welcome, My Brethren” activity online on September 26, 2021. Pre-pandemic, such an activity was conducted in-person and would involve people physically gathering in a single venue.
Organized by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) leadership, the activity saw newly baptized brethren as well as doctrinal instructees and prospective members gathering virtually. From the comfort of their homes, the attendees watched pre-recorded musical performances by select brethren. They also participated in a few interactive games.
During the activity, newly baptized brethren were introduced to the congregation and were also given an opportunity to become acquainted with the officers of their respective CFO.
Before the activity ended, Brother Ronaldo Lising, the district supervising minister, gave a short biblical lecture about the importance of being counted among God’s chosen people, as well as their duty to cherish and safeguard it. — With reports from INC News Section
