“We have received God’s teachings to remind us to uphold a Christian way of living even in our workplaces,” Adrian Damian said of the special gathering of Christian Employees Association (CEA) members in the Ecclesiastical District of Malaysia.

He was one of the organization’s new officers who took their oath of office during the said gathering on November 7, 2021, which was facilitated online.

Brother Ronaldo Lising, the district supervising minister, officiated the sacred gathering aimed at, among others, edifying the CEA members and strengthening their bond and unity. He reminded them to remain steadfast in their faith and to live according to God’s commands, one of which is to raise the level of efficiency at work and to promote a harmonious relationship among employees and employers.

After the homily, Brother Uziel Bonggares, the assistant district supervising minister, administered the oath-taking of the new officers.

“We were reminded to maintain our good relationship with our fellow employees and colleagues to have a peaceful working environment and gain friends,” said MM Navarro, a new officer of the district’s CEA. “We promise to always be active in our faith and devotedly perform our Church duties, especially in helping in the intensive propagation of God’s words.”

The CEA is the organization inside the Church Of Christ that has for its members brethren who are either employers or employees. It helps the Church Administration in guiding the brethren to be good employers or employees through the light of the words of God recorded in the Bible. ― With reports from INC News Section
