To take care of their teeth and overall health, Children’s Worship Service (CWS) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Malaysia attended an online Dental Health Care Awareness seminar on February 14, 2021.
Sister Gladys Santua, dentist and Buklod member, taught the importance of taking care of one’s dental health through the proper way of brushing teeth and eating healthy foods. She also reminded them that oral hygiene is important because negligence of it might lead to oral infections, such as tooth decay and gum disease.
Jacob Riley del Puerto, CWS member, said, “I learned a lot … about the importance of taking care of our health, so we can always serve our Lord God.”
Meanwhile, also on that day, the young members participated in an online Physical Fitness activity.
Jerrald Caballa, a mixed martial artist and fitness enthusiast, led the activity. He demonstrated the basic routines and exercises that can be done at home by grown-ups and kids alike. Parents not only helped their kids prepare their exercise mats but also supervised them throughout the activity.
Jesse Nuñez, CWS member, joyfully said, “I had so much fun in our physical fitness activity because I got to learn [how] to keep myself healthy and I was able to bond with my parents and my fellow CWS members. Thank you so much to our CFO Coordinator, Brother Angelo Eraño Manalo, for the guidance and support, and especially to our beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for approving our activity to keep us fit and healthy as we grow. We love you so much.” — With reports from INC News Section
