Instead of focusing on stress wrought by the pandemic crisis, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members busy themselves in uniting with Church activities, just like the brethren from neighboring local congregations of Mangagoy and Tabon, Ecclesiastical District of Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, who participated in a weeklong nature appreciation activity. It culminated on June 9, 2021, through photo exhibits at their respective houses of worship compound.
“I am fond of taking pictures since my college years because it is a stress reliever and through it I am able to convey what I feel,” shared Juera Gumanit, photo enthusiast from the Local Congregation of Mangagoy. “I am grateful to my friends, who are Church officers, as they are the ones who taught me on how to improve my photography skills.”
Led by KADIWA officers, the Church members strolled around the neighborhood, taking pictures from the outside of their houses to nearby plantations, forests, and coastal areas.
“I firmly believe that Church activities like this are very important. Through these the brethren are able to share their talents and skills. Most of all, a skill like this [in photography] can be beneficial in documenting Church activities,” she added. — With reports from INC News Section
