Proving their readiness in heeding the call of the Lord God, through the Church Administration, to intensify the work of propagation, brethren from all of the local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Maynila in the Philippines helped out in the evangelical mission held in their respective houses of worship on January 13, 2023.

Brother Wilson R. Cayago, district’s supervising minister testified: “A lot of brethren have proven their unity in this evangelical mission. They invited many guests, particularly their relatives, friends, and acquaintances who were able to listen to the teachings of our Lord God. Thru God’s help and mercy, the study of the words of God in this evangelical mission had become successful, as many guests have attended in it.”

Among the local congregations that conducted the evangelical mission were  Tayuman, Magsaysay, and Baseco. With the help of the Almighty God, brethren there were able to invite guests who listened to the teachings of God being upheld by the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

It is the utmost desire of the members of the Church Of Christ that many more people would listen to the teachings of the Lord God, which is why with all their might, they strive to invite many guests. Before the appointed time of the evangelical mission, the brethren distributed Pasugo: God’s Message magazines and religious pamphlets. Gilson Marcelino, from the Local Congregation of Baseco, was one of them:

“For us to be able to invite many guests for this evangelical mission, we, together with the officers of KADIWA and Binhi organizations, conducted a distribution of Pasugo magazines and religious pamphlets to our fellowmen, and we were glad that because of this, a lot of people attended the said activity.”

Russel David, a choir member from Local Congregation of Tayuman, said:

“It is important to do our job, for the sake of our personal needs. But to fulfill our obligations as a Church Of Christ member is also important, especially sharing our faith. That is why, even in our workplace, I continue fulfilling my sacred duty to help in the propagation works by giving out Pasugo magazines to my co-employees.”

Adnan M. Guerra, one of the attendees of the said activity said:

“First of all, I felt glad and enlightened. I am very thankful that I was able to listen to this Bible study. I am interested to learn more about the teachings of God inside the Church Of Christ and I will focus my attention to this, for I know that I’ll learn a lot from it.”

Marie Anne Gadian, a Church officer from the Local Congregation of Baseco, who invited guests to the evangelical mission, said: “I am truly happy today, for I was able to heed the call of the Church Administration in sharing our faith. I invited my friends and, fortunately, I was able to persuade them to attend in this Bible Study.”

Brother Cornelio Cortez, minister of the gospel who officiated the evangelical mission in the Local Congregation of Tayuman, declared: “If we continue to obey the will of God, we will be more edified in our faith. Obedience to God’s commands will bring us closer to Him. Most especially, if we continue to fulfill God’s will, we will receive what God has promised to us―the eternal life.” – With Reports from INC News Section
