As children in Canada are scheduled to return to school in September despite the ongoing pandemic, Church Of Christ members from the Ecclesiastical District of Manitoba organized an Aid to Humanity project on September 8, 2020. Anticipating the safe return of students to the classrooms by complying with the health protocols, they donated face masks to several schools across Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Over 8,000 disposable face masks were supplied and distributed to 12 schools in the first week of the academic year. These masks would be given to students in order to protect themselves and others while attending class. Those who received the donations on behalf of these schools were greatly appreciative of the Church’s concern.

Throughout the pandemic crisis, brethren from Manitoba continue to find innovative ways to help others during these difficult times because, they said, they always remember the teachings of God to do good to those who need it whenever they can. ― With reports from INC News Section
