Just like her fellow baptismal candidates, Rhodora Llobrera, also had her fair share of trials during the process of her joining the Church Of Christ. But with God’s guidance, these challenges made her even more firm in the faith as the day of her baptism approached.

On June 28, 2021, she was among the new converts in Canada added into the Church as the Ecclesiastical District of Manitoba held two simultaneous baptisms.

In the region of Manitoba, the baptism was held at the Local Congregation of Winnipeg South and was officiated by the district supervising minister, Brother Sidney Santos.

Meanwhile, another baptism was held in the Saskatchewan region, during which the candidates for baptism gathered at the Local Congregation of Regina. The holy gathering was led by Brother Rodrigo Malacad Jr., assistant district supervising minister.

Before the baptismal proper, the officiating ministers reminded the prospective members that it is a great blessing for one to become a member of the true Church. Hence, they should cherish their membership and actively uphold God’s teachings until the end.

“Let’s not be afraid to find the true Church. Do not hesitate in trying to further study the words of God,” Rhodora, now enlisted in the Regina Congregation, said.

Church members all over the district were blessed to witness the sacred occasion from the confines of their homes as they were connected through videoconferencing. — With reports from INC News Section
