After overcoming many trials, those who sought to become members of the Church Of Christ in the Ecclesiastical Districts of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental and Tokyo, Japan triumphantly reached the day of their baptism.
On November 27, 2020, in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental Ecclesiastical District in the Philippines, the candidates for baptism, together with the brethren, arrived early at the house of worship of Kabankalan City Local Congregation. Brother Dante Mujar, district supervising minister, officiated the holy gathering. Through the Holy Scriptures, he emphasized that remaining active inside the true Church Of Christ is vital in receiving the promised salvation on the Day of Judgment.
Meanwhile, in Tokyo, Japan Ecclesiastical District, the prospective members received their holy baptism at the Local Congregation of Hamamatsu’s house of worship on November 24, 2020. Brother Manny Benedicto, district supervising minister, led the study of God’s words in the baptismal service.
Willingly changing his way of life as soon as he learned and understood God’s teachings, Hiroji Muramatsu, one of the newly baptized members, said, “The reason I chose to become a member of the Church Of Christ is because I want to be saved [on Judgment Day] and to reach the Holy City.”
The newly baptized members were joyful for the sacred gathering as all of them received the right to render services to the true God and to receive eternal life in the Holy City.
Safety protocols were strictly followed on both sacred occasions.― With reports from INC News Section
