The Buklod members from the Stavanger Group Worship Service in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe enjoyed an evening of good food and faith-uplifting entertainment during their Buklod Night on January 9, 2021.

From their respective homes, the brethren connected to the host site through videoconferencing. Married couples prepared their dinner tables with their favorite meals, arranged their place, and dressed up. It was as if they were going out on a romantic date. And it was such, except that they were in the comfort of their homes and they were joined by their fellow Christian couples in Stavanger. Some of them gave performances that added entertainment to the occasion.

The Buklod Night is intended to nurture the love between husband and wife. True enough, the couples who attended, such as Sven Solve and wife Josielyn Groth enjoyed the activity, which they said strengthened their faith.

“This activity gave a good and positive impact to the brethren especially between husband and wife. The activity strengthened our bond and we feel more active in the faith,” Josielyn Groth said.

She added, “Because of the pandemic that made us far from each other, through the activity, we feel so near and more sociable to our brethren.”

The brethren thanked the Church Administration for such activity that strengthened their faith. They promised to be more active in serving the Lord God. ― With reports from INC News Section
