On November 21, 2020, Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officers from the Local Congregation of Martan, Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City celebrated their congregation’s third anniversary by giving care packages to young brethren.
Brother Jerald Dulnuan, Christian Family Organizations (CFO) congregation overseer, spearheaded the CWS officers in distributing the care packages while strictly following health and safety protocols. He said, “Giving aid to the CWS members here in Martan is in obedience to God’s will that we help those in need, especially now that Quezon City is still under General Community Quarantine.”
The children thanked the CWS officers and the Church Administration upon receiving the aid. Seven-year-old Bien Allen Daquiz said, “I thank Brother Eduardo V. Manalo for his love and care for us.” Likewise, fourth-grader Arkin Orias said, “Thank you, CWS officers, who handed us these care packages. Thank you very much, Brother Eduardo Manalo, for this activity.”
Grateful to God for another year of keeping them safe, Carla Eliza Parungao, CWS teacher, said, “Despite the trials and persecution, we see how God bestows His goodness and blessings to our local congregation. That inspires us to always remain active in the Church with a strong faith that God will never forsake us.” ― With reports from QC District Multimedia
