
The newly renovated 290-seater house of worship of the Local Congregation of Masbate City, Ecclesiastical District of Masbate in the Philippines was rededicated to God through a worship service on October 2, 2021.
The district supervising minister, Brother Miamino Miclat, officiated at the holy occasion. He detailed from the Bible how God’s true servants prove to Him how they obey all His commands amid hardships, one of which is by valuing not only the house of worship but also the worship services that are conducted there.
“For us members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, the house of worship is very important in order for us to be able to conduct our primary duty to God that is to worship Him. This is yet another proof that even though we may be experiencing overwhelming trials, but God does not fail to continue fulfilling His promises to this Church, making it triumphant every step of the way,” said Brother Miclat.
Besides the house of worship, the parsonage and the offices were also refurbished. A new guard house and a generator house was also constructed for the local congregation, as well as a concrete perimeter fence. Moreover, it was installed with a closed-circuit camera system.
Ryan Lorejas, choir director, expressed happiness over the Johannus organ that was also installed in the house of worship, “We thank God for allowing us be gifted with this state-of-the-art musical instrument that can truly uplift our singing of praises to Him. We’re all the more inspired to continue on in our worship services whatever happens in our lives.”
“We firmly believe that this is God’s lovingkindness to us through the administration He placed inside the Church,” said Edmundo Arboleda, head deacon.
On behalf of the congregation and the whole district, Brother Miclat said, “We thank God so much for allowing this rededication. We also thank the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for his indefatigable leadership to propel us all the more in devoted worship and service of God.” — With reports from INC News Section
