Led by their resident minister, Brother Leyden Gamboa, the brethren-donors reported to the Canadian Blood Services center nearest their house of worship for blood screening and collection.
“I know many people who are in need of blood. By volunteering myself, I help save lives, and being of help to my fellowmen is gratifying not only to me but, most of all, before God’s sight,” said Levi Pagaduan, one of the donors. “This is my fifth time donating blood.”
Barbara Caquiat, deaconess, enthused, “It feels so satisfying that I’m finally able to donate blood. It is my hope that, in my own little way, I could be of help, for my fellowmen’s welfare.” — With reports from INC News Section
