The number of Church officers in the Ecclesiastical District of Mediterranean further increased as new officers, from various local congregations in different countries, were sworn in to their respective duties during a special gathering on October 31, 2021.
Brother Ramil Regino, district supervising minister, led the oath-taking of the new officers through videoconferencing. In his Bible-based homily, he emphasized to the brethren that as Church officers, they are expected by the Lord God to have exemplary character and to fulfill His will with a sincere heart.
“I feel happy to receive this great blessing from our Lord God to be a Church officer,” Irene Bengoa, a newly sworn-in Church Officer, expressed.
“In relation to the noble aim of our dearest Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, to oversee the spiritual needs of the Church, we were able to hold a district-wide oath-taking of new officers,” Brother Regino said.
The new batch of officers would be of help to the Church Administration not only in edifying the brethren but also in encouraging them to all the more be active in all Church activities.
Recognizing the value of the blessing given to them by God, the additional Church officers, together with the current officers, resolved to be dedicated in fulfilling their duties.
“We thank Brother Eduardo Manalo for his constant guidance and support so that we will all the more remain inspired as we get near to our redemption,” Brother Regino added. — With reports from INC News Section
