To further care for the brethren, the leadership of the Ecclesiastical District of Mediterranean swore in new local congregation officers during a special gathering of Church officers on February 27, 2021.
Brother Ramil Regino, district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred gathering, which was held through videoconferencing. He reminded the Church officers through the Bible of their holy obligations and responsibilities that they must perform wholeheartedly.
As additional officers, he said, they are expected to provide further strength in helping the Administration in all Church endeavors, such as the edification of the brethren and propagation of the gospel.
Mylene Cundangan, a deaconess and finance officer, was one of those inducted—into an additional duty. “I am joyful because aside from my current Church duties, God willed that I take oath as a member of the technical support for videostreaming (TSV) in our group worship service (GWS),” she said. “I promise to fulfill my duties with love and faith, I will help the Church Administration in caring for the brethren.”
“As the Church continues to grow here in our district, we remain united with our dearest Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo Manalo, in all aspects of our spiritual obligations,” Brother Regino said.
Expressing the collective resolve of the brethren, Brother Regino added, “We promise to God and to the Church Administration that we will remain in our spiritual fervor in our enthusiasm in serving our Lord God inside the Church Of Christ.” — With reports from INC News Section
