For the month of October, the Ecclesiastical District of Mediterranean conducted the baptism of new Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in Greece and Israel.

Both holy occasions were held on the 23rd and witnessed by brethren from other local congregations in the district through videoconferencing.

District supervising minister Brother Ramil Regino officiated at the baptismal service held in Athens, Greece, while District Light of Salvation overseer Brother Gilbert Zaraga in Tel Aviv, Israel.

They reminded the would-be members of the great blessings for them in Christ’s true Church, among which is the hope for salvation on the Day of Judgment and eternal life in the Holy City.

Following the homily, the candidates for baptism took their oath of membership and afterwards were baptized, making them full-fledged members of the Church Of Christ.

John Christopher Spear, a newly baptized member from Tel Aviv, said, “I am happy to receive my baptism. My baptism in the Church Of Christ, for me, was the beginning of my new life as I’m now among God’s people in His nation.”
