Ministers in the Ecclesiastical District of Mediterranean administered the baptism of additional members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) from Cyprus, Greece, and Israel on January 28, 2023.

The baptisms were conducted simultaneously at the places of worship of the local congregations of Athens, Greece; Tel Aviv, Israel; and Nicosia, Cyprus.

Brother Ramil Regino, the district supervising minister, officiated at the baptismal service in Tel Aviv. Brother Pepito Acuesta, assistant district supervising minister, led the holy occasion held in Nicosia to which those gathered in Athens connected via video streaming.

“I am so grateful to the Almighty Father for calling me into the true Church. My voyage here in Cyprus was originally for me to find a sizeable income for my family back home, but God blessed me more than that, I have found the true Church,” enthused Editha Plaga who was baptized in Nicosia. “I am now certain of being saved.” Convinced of how precious her divine election is, she went on to say that she “will also give effort to share my faith to my loved ones.”

Before their baptism, the would-be members were reminded by the officiating ministers of the necessity of not just joining the true Church but also of leading a new way of life.

Currently, the Ecclesiastical District of Mediterranean supervises brethren from nine countries. The district consists of 16 local congregations, one extension, and ten Group Worship Services (GWS) —With reports from INC News Section
