“Your participation in this activity is quite amazing because of your unity. This is what the Church Administration wants—that youth members be strong in the faith and, at all times, be of help in uplifting the spiritual fervor of other brethren,” said Brother Ramil Regino, the district supervising minister.
The KADIWA virtual Tagisan ng Talino (battle of the wits) held on September 25, 2021 brought together young men and women from various local congregations, in different countries, who are under the care of the Ecclesiastical District of Mediterranean.
The topic of the Tagisan ng Talino activity was the life of Brother Felix Y. Manalo, God’s Messenger in these last days, as well as the history of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). Judith Imus, KADIWA district president, acted as emcee of the online activity.
Jane Delos Santos, from the Local Congregation of Malta, won; Renerose Gambong, from the Local Congregation of Istanbul, Turkey, silver; and Daisy Matugas, from the Local Congregation of Athens, Greece, bronze.
After the contest, Brother Axl Rose Mesina, the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, encouraged the brethren, “Let us all the more be active in our faith. And may you be of help to other KADIWA members so that they will be active even more in all Church activities.”
The ecclesiastical district supervises several local congregations, extensions, and Group Worship Service (GWS) in Israel, Cyprus, Malta, among others. The district office is in Greece. ― With reports from INC News Section
