Brethren from the Metro Manila South District shared their true faith with their friends and loved ones through a Musical Evangelical Mission they conducted on July 24, 2022.

Held at the 12,000-seater Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City, Philippines, it was among the activities the district had lined up to commemorate the 108th founding anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

To open the program, Brother Diosdado Dades, the district supervising minister, first preached God’s words, pointing out that, as written in the Bible, joining the Church redeemed by Christ is necessary for receiving God’s promised salvation on Judgment Day. After his preaching, various choral groups and performers presented musical numbers featuring Original Iglesia Ni Cristo Music.

“The activity aims to share the true faith through our brethren with talents in singing and dancing, among others. Through the musical numbers that they have rehearsed and mastered, the guests not only learn about God’s teachings but also feel the conviction of the brethren,” said Brother Gloverick Parungao, the district CFO overseer.

“We did not forget to ask God’s guidance through prayers in every rehearsal we do,” said Camille Carla Oquialda Bongat, a performer from Proprietarios Congregation. “Tired, yes, but we are happy sharing our talents in proclaiming God’s words to the people.”

“I invited my friend to listen to God’s words,” said Allysa Rose Adap, a Binhi from Proprietarios. “I will encourage more people to listen to the teachings of God written in the Bible.”

“Sharing our faith is a duty of every Church member,” said Brother Dades. “In our district, through the leadership of all ministers and ministerial workers, we will continue to unite to further intensify the propagation of God’s words.” — With reports from Naida M. Flora
