With heartfelt gratitude to the Lord God for His bountiful blessings, the members of the Local Congregation of Midland, Ecclesiastical District of Australia West celebrated its 10th anniversary on November 27, 2022 with an uplifting musical program.

“Reaching our 10th anniversary inspired us to make this celebration the best,” said Arnold Me-ot, choir member, Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officer, and KADIWA district officer, who helped organize the event. “I’m thankful to God for allowing us to reach such a milestone. It’s just memorable.”

Aside from the musical performances, the brethren from Midland, together with those from neighboring congregations, enjoyed playing fun games that fostered their camaraderie.

The local leadership deemed the activity an opportune time “to show our children the importance of the Church Of Christ,” said Brother Aldee Masanque, resident minister. “Through the performances, we’re able to impart to them how they should also value their membership.”

A photo exhibit featuring the congregation’s achievements through the years was also set up. “Through the photo exhibit, they saw how the brethren in the past ten years have involved themselves in the many endeavors of the Church, learning from them, and thus become steadfast in the faith,” said Brother Masanque, who supervised the activity.

Near the entrance of the venue, the Dayton Community Centre at 211 Arthur St., Dayton WA 6055, Australia, a message board was put up on which the attendees could post their well-wishes for each other and for the local congregation, which was established on November 15, 2012. — With reports from INC News Section
