As the new year began, the leadership of the Ecclesiastical District of Manitoba endeavored to convene the ministers, ministerial workers, and their families to provide them spiritual nourishment through God’s words.

Brother Roland Andrade officiated at the special gathering held in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Winnipeg South on January 9, 2023.

In his Bible-based homily, the district supervising minister reminded the men in the ministry and their respective families to be good examples to the brethren in serving God with all zealousness and loyalty.

“As we, and our families, remain good examples to the brethren entrusted to our care, we all the more become effective helpers of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, our Executive Minister, in leading the Church towards spiritual maturity and, thus, salvation,” Brother Andrade said.

He further encouraged the attendees to lead a holy Christian life in accordance with the words of God even in these trying times, reassuring them of His unceasing guidance.

“Being in the ministry does not exempt ministers and ministerial workers from experiencing problems, which is why special gatherings like this are important for us,” said Brother Jerson Quiao, resident ministerial worker of the Local Congregation of Neepawa.

“In gatherings like this, our families are also reminded of the great reward that awaits us when we victoriously uphold our spiritual duties,” said Brother Rolando Parto, resident minister of the Local Congregation of Humboldt, Saskatchewan. — With reports from INC News Section
