With the approval of the Church Administration, the Ecclesiastical District of Ottawa, Canada established the Miramichi Group Worship Service (GWS), in New Brunswick.
The new GWS’s members conducted its inaugural worship service on April 15, 2022, marking its establishment. New officers in the GWS took oath during the gathering.
Brother Jose Razon II, district supervising minister, officiated at the holy occasion, which was also attended by brethren from various local congregations in the district through videoconferencing.
In his Bible-based homily, he reminded the brethren that as true Christians they were expected by God to worship Him truly, that is, in the manner that He prescribed, one of which is to render it inside the true Church Of Christ.
The inaugural worship service was held in the Crossman Community Center/Kay Arena along Wynwood Drive, Moncton, New Brunswick. Subsequent gatherings of the GWS would be held at their place of worship along Princess Street, Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada.
“This will help the brethren in Miramichi to all the more worship our Lord God,” Brother Joel Paningbatan, resident minister, said. Before the GWS’s establishment, the brethren attended worship services in the Local Congregation of Moncton’s house of worship, about 150 kilometers from Miramichi. — With reports from INC News Section
