Eager to share the gospel to their countrymen, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Monterrey Group Worship Service (GWS), in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, did not mind the three-hour drive to the Mexican state of Tamaulipas to conduct an outreach-evangelical mission in San Matias, Hidalgo on October 9, 2021.

Upon arriving, the brethren, led by their resident minister, Brother Paul Martinez Jr., cordially invited the villagers to the outreach-evangelical mission that would be held in a designated open hall.

Brother Martinez first introduced the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) to the guests. He then went on to enlighten them on the Bible’s teaching on how one can attain salvation on Judgment Day, that is, to join the religion, the Church Of Christ.

After the evangelical mission, the Church officers handed out care packages containing basic goods such as rice, sugar, flour, black beans, pasta, and sanitary items.

The Monterrey GWS is an offspring of the Local Congregation of Mexico City,  which is also currently under the care of Brother Martinez as resident minister. Both belong in the Ecclesiastical District of Latin America.

“With God’s help, the Church recently established a congregation in the city of Monterrey, which is in the state of Nuevo Leon. Soon, the Church will establish a foothold in Naucalpan, Estado de México. We hope that this activity will prove to be the start of an Iglesia Ni Cristo congregation in Tamaulipas,” Brother Martinez said.

“Truly our Mexican brethren are one with the Church Administration in intensifying the work of propagation especially now that our redemption is near,” he added. — With reports from INC News Section
