Heeding God’s call through the Church Administration for them to accept duties in the Church, brethren from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Nagoya, one of two ecclesiastical districts of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in Japan, enthusiastically underwent the required training and on June 26, 2022 took their oath of office during a special gathering.

Joined by long-time officers, would-be helpers of the Church Administration flocked to their respective houses of worship to attend the sacred gathering via videoconferencing. Those in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Nagoya personally witnessed the preaching of Brother Amante Rodriguez, the district supervising minister.

After the homily, the new Church officers took their oath, solemnly promising to the Lord God that they would do their very best to help the Church Administration in looking after the brethren’s spiritual welfare.

“I am very happy” said Judelyn Ishigami, who took oath as an officer in the local secretariat. “I will do my best to perform my duties because it is given to me by God.”

At present, Nagoya District is composed of 30 local congregations, two extensions and two Group Worship Services (GWS). — With reports from INC News Section
