More Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Mediterranean heeded the call to accept a Church duty, bolstering the work of edification in their respective local congregations. They were sworn in during a special gathering of Church officers held on September 24, 2022.

Brother Ramil Regino, the district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred occasion in the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Thessaloniki, Greece, which served as the host venue. The attendees from the congregations of Jerusalem, Malta, Nicosia, North Cyprus, Tel-Aviv, and Limassol, Cyprus connected through video conferencing.

Through a Bible-based lesson, Brother Regino exhorted the Church officers to remain strong and courageous as they fulfill their Church duties. He added that although with responsibilities come challenges, they could always rely on God’s abiding help that He promised to His true and faithful servants.

“It’s fulfilling to have a duty inside the Church. From this springs the inspiration I need as I remain serving God,” said Irene Bengoa, from the Local Congregation of Nicosia, Cyprus, who took oath as local secretary.

“With God’s help, I firmly believe that I am able to do what has been taught to us, that is, staying courageous in fulfilling my Church duties,” said Glenn Javier, from the Local Congregation of Tel-Aviv, Israel, who took oath as leadership aide. “I ask of God, through prayers, to be with me at all times, especially when I perform my Church obligations.” — With reports from INC News Section
