Accompanied by the brethren instrumental in their conversion, the candidates for baptism who came from various local congregations in the district arrived safely at the house of worship of Mandaue City Local Congregation.
Before the actual baptism, Brother Diosdado Dades, district supervising minister, taught the baptismal candidates that membership in the true Church Of Christ, by receiving the true and proper baptism prescribed in the Bible, is the only means to one’s salvation. He emphasized that they were therefore receiving an invaluable spiritual blessing.
Brother Ricky Dagatan, resident minister of Mandaue City Local Congregation, said, “Despite the ongoing crisis, many brethren still prioritize to fulfill God’s commands and one of them is to intensively share our faith to many people. Because of their unity with the Church Administration, the district continues to reap the fruits of their labors through the recently held baptisms.”
Strict compliance to the health and safety protocols were observed all throughout the holy occasion. — With reports from INC News Section
