More converts from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Italy South received baptism and became members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) on October 23, 2022. The baptism was held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Rome, Italy.

The baptismal service was led by Brother Randy Macalinao, district supervising minister. After his homily, Brother Vizar Balcita, assistant district supervising minister, administered the oathtaking of the prospective members. Among those in attendance were guests invited by the brethren.

“We give the Almighty Father all the glory for helping us bear fruits. I also invited guests to the baptism for them to also know the biblical truth for salvation. I hope that they, too, aspire to become members of the Church Of Christ,” shared Eralix Quilatan, head deacon of the Livorno Group Worship Service (GWS).

In his Bible-based homily, Brother Macalinao emphasized God’s will that people must be baptized into the true Church redeemed by Christ to have a share in the promised salvation on Judgment Day.

“We are thankful to our Lord God that we were able to hold this holy baptism and at the same time were able to invite guests. This is proof that He continues to call people into the true religion in this country,” said Brother Balcita.

The Ecclesiastical District of Italy South oversees 11 local congregations, 13 Group Worship Services, and an extension in Messina, Italy. — With reports from INC News Section
