Additional teachers in the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) from local congregations in Metro Perth, Ecclesiastical District of Australia West took their oath of office during a special meeting held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Perth on May 29, 2022.

The local congregations in Metro Perth are Perth, Midland, Maddington, and Rockingham. These congregations supervise the extensions of Ellenbrook, Stirling, and Coogee.

Brother Orlando Macayan, assistant district supervising minister, presided over the meeting. In his lecture prior to the oath-taking, he reiterated to the CWS officers through the Holy Scriptures the importance of the role of teachers and officers in the CWS in guiding the children of the brethren in the righteous way of living while serving the Lord God.

“It’s important to guide the children because this is the time when they retain knowledge and information they acquire as they grow up. Teaching them with the words of our Lord God and encouraging them to hold duties in the Church will let them see the importance of worshiping God,” Angelo Guanzon, CWS teacher from Midland Local Congregation, said.

“I will explain well the worship service lessons and emphasize the stories written in the Bible for the CWS members to all the more be inspired to serve our Lord God,” Ira Palma, CWS teacher from Perth Local Congregation, enthused. — With reports from INC News Section
