The Church members from the Ecclesiastical District of Iloilo South reaped the abundant fruits of their intensified efforts in propagating the true message of salvation in the baptism held on February 27, 2021.

The baptism candidates traveled early from the respective towns and cities of their residence to reach the venue of their baptism—the house of worship of Iloilo City Local Congregation.

Before the baptismal proper, they attentively listened to the words of God preached by the district supervising minister, Brother Samson Otero. From the Holy Scriptures, he taught them that being a full-fledged member of the Church Of Christ is a great privilege as they would receive the hope of salvation come the Second Advent of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In an interview, Brother Joss Esteban, a ministerial worker assigned in Mansaya Local Congregation, shared how the brethren showed their unity in sharing their faith, which had paved the way for the newly baptized members to learn about the true gospel and eventually joined the Church Of Christ.

“Despite the situation of this world, we continued to fulfill God’s command of proclaiming His words to many people. The recently held baptism in our district only shows how God has been merciful to us as He added more members in the Church,” he said. — With reports from INC News Section
