Reaping the fruits of the brethren’s intensified efforts in spreading God’s words, the Church membership in the Negros del Norte Ecclesiastical District increased as two consecutive baptisms were held on June 25, 2021.
Early in the morning, the baptismal candidates, together with the brethren instrumental in their conversion, gathered at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Guihulngan. Later that day, another baptism was held in San Carlos City Local Congregation’s house of worship.
Both holy gatherings were officiated by the assistant district supervising minister, Brother Raul Gonzales. During the study of God’s words, he emphasized the importance of remaining an active member of the Church Of Christ despite various trials because it is necessary in receiving salvation on Judgment Day.
In unity with the Church Administration’s call for intensive propagational works, the brethren in the district promised to continue to help sharing the true Christian faith so that many more people may join the Church Of Christ and attain salvation.
With the province of Negros Occidental placed under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ), all attendees still duly followed health and safety protocols through the said gatherings. — With reports from INC News Section
