On October 31, 2021, in a special gathering, an oath-taking of new officers in the Ecclesiastical District of Tokyo, Japan was held. The new officers are expected to boost the workforce of those helping the Church Administration in the task of preparing the brethren in various local congregations in the district towards attaining salvation.

Brother Manny Bendicto, led the holy occasion at the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Saitama. Through videoconferencing, the Church officers throughout the district attended the gathering and witnessed the oath-taking.

During such gatherings, Church officers, old and new alike, receive God’s teachings that serve as their inspiration and guidance in performing their duties inside the Church Of Christ. Brother Benedicto taught the Church officers not only about the importance of them accepting a duty in the Church but also the blessings of the Lord God that come along with it.

“We praise and give thanks to our Lord God for new officers are added in the district from various local congregations, who can help for the [spiritual] welfare of the brethren in the Church,” Brother Benedicto said. — With reports from INC News Section
