Despite the pandemic, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Eastern Samar Ecclesiastical District diligently shared the true Christian faith to others resulting in more people from this Visayan province in the Philippines  being added to the Lord’s flock during the series of baptisms last month.

On October 29, Brother Rico Melgar, district supervising minister, officiated the holy baptism of new converts in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Borongan. During the study of God’s words, he reiterated to the candidates for baptism that they should value greatly their Church membership they were about to receive to be deemed worthy of God’s blessings.

The said baptism followed those that were held on October 22 and 26 October, in the houses of worship of the Local Congregations of Hernani and of Dolores, respectively. Both sacred occasions were led by the assistant district supervising minister, Brother Wilfredo Honorio. He prepared the would-be members by teaching them a biblical lesson about the importance of being firm in the true faith.

The newly baptized brethren vowed to be devoted to their services to God inside the Church Of Christ until the end. Among them, Rose Ebon, said, “I am thankful to be baptized in the Church Of Christ because here, I can receive salvation. I will continue being active in attending worship services.” — With reports from INC News Section
