“It felt like I’m a new person,” expressed Randy Soriben after finally receiving his much-awaited baptism into the true Church Of Christ. He was among the new converts baptized in the Ecclesiastical District of Italy South, fruits of the brethren’s propagational efforts in the recent months.
On October 29, 2021, Randy, together with other prospective members, gathered for their baptism at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Rome. They did so while observing health and safety protocols.
Before the baptismal proper, Brother Vizar Balcita, assistant district supervising minister, taught a biblical lesson to the congregants about the importance of remaining strong and steadfast in the faith to be certain of receiving salvation. He reiterated to them that this can be done by following all of God’s commands despite the many hardships they may encounter.
As now a full-fledged Church Of Christ member, Randy promised, “I promise to the Lord God that I will be active in my services and completely obey His will. I also promise to the Church Administration that I will submit to their leadership.”
The Ecclesiastical District of Italy South supervises 24 local congregations. The district office is in Rome. — With reports from INC News Section
