“I started to examine the Church Of Christ when I was invited to witness an online evangelical mission,” declared Nerly Milloroso. At first, she did not pay attention to it but according to her, “when I attended the worship service and learned from the Bible that the Church Of Christ is the true religion, I decided to pursue my membership.”

Nerly, and other prospective Bible students from the Ecclesiastical District of Aklan who were also enlightened of this biblical truth, stayed firm in their decision of joining the Church. With God’s help, they received their baptism on December 24, 2021. She is now enlisted in the Ondoy Congregation.

The district supervising minister, Brother Eduardo Donato, officiated the holy gathering held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Kalibo. During the study of God’s words, he taught about the importance of joining the Church Of Christ to be certain of receiving eternal life in the Holy City. Safety protocols were duly observed in the gathering.

Rena Indencio, an organist and head secretary of the Local Congregation of Ondoy, who guided and walked through Nerly in joining the Church, promised, “I will continue to guide and encourage her in actively serving God. I will also continue to participate in sharing our faith so that more people will be saved on Judgment Day.”

The Aklan District in Panay Island, Western Visayas, Philippines, consists of 34 local congregations, seven extensions, and two group worship services (GWS). — With reports from INC News Section
