“I feel glad that my household are now together in the true Church, having the same faith,” expressed Mylene Sacramento. “I believe that through this, we will all the more become close to God.”

Together with other prospective members from western Isabela, Philippines, Mylene, her husband and children, received the true baptism inside the Church Of Christ on April 23, 2022 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Roxas.

The sacred gathering was officiated by Brother Benigno Esguerra Jr., assistant supervising minister of the Isabela West Ecclesiastical District, one of the Church’s three districts in Isabela province. In his sermon before the baptism proper, he pointed out that God expects members of the Church to uphold a righteous way of life in order to receive the promised salvation.

“As a parent, it’s my desire to set as a good example to my children in obeying God’s teachings not only through teaching them, but also through my actions,” said Mylene. She and her household are now enlisted in the Roxas Congregation. — With reports from INC News Section
