More and more people are being added into the membership of the Church Of Christ in the La Union Ecclesiastical District as it conducted baptism on February 20, 2021 in the house of worship of Santiago Norte Local Congregation.

The district supervising minister, Brother Ardy Mendoza, officiated at the holy occasion. In his Bible-based preaching during the gathering before the baptismal candidates’ immersion into water, he emphasized the great importance of the decision they made to enter the true Church: it will lead to their salvation on the Day of Judgment.

Firmly believing this biblical truth, a choir member from Bauang Local Congregation, Menoplie Costales, himself a convert and a member for 33 years now and, always ensure to bear “fruits” or converts into the true faith every year.

“Now that there is a pandemic, it encourages me more to share my faith because a lot of people need to know the Church Of Christ and need to be saved. I promise to God that me and my family will continue to invite our friends and loved ones who are nonmembers to attend evangelical missions and Bible studies,” he said.

Brother Gilbert Clores, district edification overseer, said in an interview, “Through the leadership of our district supervising minister, we continue to encourage every household to unite with the Church Administration in the intensive propagation of God’s words so that many people will join the Church and receive the hope of salvation.” — With reports from INC News Section
