More people from Leyte, specifically in places with local congregations under the Ecclesiastical District of Leyte East, received aid from the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). Through Lingap sa Mamamayan (Aid for Humanity) events, they received care packages containing food items.

The first of the outreach activities was held on February 15, 2022 at the compound of the Local Congregation of New Era, in the village of Alang-Alang, around 15 kilometers away from Tacloban City.

After the outreach activity in New Era, Aid to Humanity events were also held in neighboring congregations, namely Sta. Elena Extension, Pagsulhugon, Babatngon, and Can-abay on February 16, 19, 22, and 23, respectively.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) continues to hold humanitarian events in various places all over the world in obedience to the Lord God’s command to help those in need. — With reports from INC News Section
